Rowan and the big chair

Rowan loves to sit in chairs. Sometimes he falls over, but that's OK.

Rolling Rowan

Rowan rolled over today...twice. He was on his stomach for tummy time
and he decided he preffered his back, so he leaned to one side and
flipped himself. I put him on his belly again and he did it again.
Of course, when I called Adrian in to see, Rowan decided he wanted to
stay put on his belly and suck his hands instead. I'll have to catch
him on film next time.

1st Father's Day

We had a great day - a special breakfast, a little hiking, a little elephant hunting....

The elephant was Adrian's Father's Day gift. He lives on our front lawn and Elijah is terrified of him. It's pretty funny to see. We named him "Daddy."

12 lbs

Rowan hit the big 1-2! He's been going through kits of changinges
lately. He's sleeping well and LOVES his hands.

He got the second round of shots today. We split them up, so we have
to go to the dr office more often, but Ro Ro is a champ about it. He
didn't even cry. Notice his bandaids match his outfit. He has such
fashion sense already! Thanks bubby rene for the onesie.

Next stop...walking.

Tummy time

Rowan's starting to push himself up on his tummy.

My Crib

Rowan has been sleeping in his crib in thw baby office for the last
week and it's made a huge difference in his sleep. He went from
sleeping 2-3 hrs at a time to a big 7 hrs straight last night!

He now has a little routine. He gets a bath and then is in bed around
9pm. Here's hoping he keeps it up!
