Haircut!

Kelly, our local barista, is a hair stylist. She cut rowan's bangs
this AM. We saved his hair in a coffee cup. What a cutie!

Shangra-La studios

Pam came to town to do publicity for the band "Monsters of Folk" which is members of Bright Eyes, M Ward and My Morning Jacket. They were recording at Shangra-La studios in Malibu where Bob Dylan and Neil Young once recorded. The studio is a huge house looking over the beach. It was pretty incredible. There were 5 Airstreams on the property where bands can stay and a treehouse with the most amazing view of the ocean. I wish we could live at Shangra-La studios....

a note for Rowan - when you read this years from now....Pam is your mom's best friend who she met at summer-camp when she was 8. Maybe you'll meet a great friend at summer-camp one day that you will know forever.

rowan got to play drums on the 3rd street promenade in santa monica. A street performer let the kids play on his set.

Bug

Rowan has a stomach bug today, but that doesn't stop him from watering
things.
